Scholarship Information 2025-2026

Up to six (6) scholarships will be awarded each spring.  Scholarship amounts awarded range from $500 to $1000.00.  No scholarship amount will exceed $1,000.00. 

Financial need is not a factor.

Deadline for receipt of applications is April 24, 2026.  No late applications will be accepted.

Scholarship winners will be announced at the Senior Awards Assembly in May 2026.

Scholarship awards are made payable directly to the recipient’s post-secondary institution and applied only to tuition/fees.

Eligibility Information

•    Applicant must be a senior planning to attend a post-secondary institution. (2 yr. or 4 yr.)
•  Applicant must have lettered in a Varsity Sport at Lewis High School and/or be eligible to receive a Varsity Letter and be a member in good standing on a current Varsity team at Lewis High School as verified by the Activities Office.
•   Applicant must adhere to “Activities Participation Policy” throughout his/her senior year of high school. 
•  Applicant must not be receiving a full scholarship or appointment to any military academy.  Applicants who receive an appointment of one of the US Military Academies (or affiliated preparatory schools) or are awarded a full scholarship at any accredited four-year college or university are not eligible to receive funds from this program.

Applications will be judged on the following criteria:

•    Athletic accomplishments
•    Academic record
•    Leadership and community service
•    Essay

•   One Coach’s Recommendation
•   High School Transcript (“Unofficial” copy acceptable)
•    Completed “School Administration Verification” form
